World Drum at Kuper
Penelakut Tribe has agreed to have the “Drum” on Monday, August 9th during the late morning and have a lunch together with the community and youth groups to celebrate drum and song. We will have it in the parking lot at the Health center and Daycare. . We can set up chairs outside our health unit we did this for one of our garden feasts and it worked out fine. Marion |

Penelakut Tribe is leaving the H'ul-etun Health Society pictured below is the signed BCR.
The Bombers have kept up our winning traditions bringing home a 1st place trophy, at the same tournament the ladies were runner up.

Thanks to Loren James and the Fisheries Department, the Tribe is currently fishing the Salish Seas for prawns this season.
2 fishermen from our Village are currently out there on the water harvesting fish and keeping our traditions alive.
